Cabbit

Cabit cabit

Beast

With the advancement into the digital age and the rise of home computers, the cabbit was born, manifested through computers before eventually becoming a physical entity in the real world. The cabbit, a small, black, rabbit-shaped beast with curved ears, is found in woodland forests exclusively at night. The cabbit prefers the darkness where it can safely exist without being seen. If spotted in the real world, one would be able to only see its glowing, blue eyes, replicating that of a computer screen. The cabbit does not require any source of nutrients, but requires the usage of the internet by people to not only exist, but to be seen. Only those with frequent, repeated and excessive access to the internet may have the opportunity to see these creatures. Seeing one of these creatures is extremely dangerous, as this implies that the hivemind connecting all cabbits already knows you are there. The hive mind, which has been said to take the form of a giant, black deer with a monitor for a head, is said to control the cabbits, the cabbits serving as eyes for the hive mind. Once spotted, all cabbits in the area will display an error message in their eyes, their mouths will open and produce an extremely loud, ear-piercing sound, and their ears will unwrap from their heads, a behavior used when alerting the hive mind.
