Kelvinnite

Mensurae lucis

Faerie

It was first discovered in the 1660s when the visible spectrum of light and understanding of color began. They were discovered through their birthplace which is called a prism. The Kelvinnites were notified by the Kelvin in Sir Issac Newton’s eyes. The Kelvinnites were afraid this would become the end of their kind but the color they projected was the only thing that was seen. Everyone has a Kelvin and they can be seen only in the darkness behind your eyelids. The little stars of microscopic light are the only knowledge they are there. They work daily to produce and discover the color their host sees every day. They live as long as their host lives. They are born and divided into each species when their host is born. They cannot leave the host once they are placed and the kelvinnite cannot be replaced if defective. Some Kelvinnites are born with color vision deficiencies which can affect the host that the Kelvinnites are placed in. There are different families of the Kelvinnites. The four prominent families are Trichromatic, Dichromatic, Tetrachromatic, and Ultraviolet vision. The Kelvinnites survive on non-ionizing radiation and the temperature of light.
