Rain
Pluvia pluvia
Cat
Rain started walking the earth during the birth of the Industrial Revolution (1700-1800s). The burning of fossil fuels including coal and oil have increased the greenhouse gas emissions in our atmosphere.
Rain is alive today as long as we keep polluting the air around us.
Rain is very plentiful and appears in numerous locations (sometimes at the same time) around the world. She is able to shapeshift into any storm imaginable. As the climate gets worse, Rain becomes stronger.
Rain is becoming more well known to humans but there are some that don't believe she exists at all.
Rain lives in the water that surrounds us everyday. She is what we eat and need to survive. Rain’s diet consists of pollution from either the air or the water. If there is too much food, she becomes overwhelmed and creates tornadoes and hurricanes.
Rain represents a juvenile. She is full of energy and reacts to the slightest of changes. This particular specimen was discovered by Kiara Hunt at the science lab on UCA campus on 10/23/24.
The creature became prevalent in Kiara after the birth of Hurricane Helene on September 30th. The size of Rain may vary but her normal size is that of a hand held plush toy.
